Webshare Alternative: US Static ISP Proxies, Flat Pricing

Webshare is cheaper and has a free tier. We are the alternative when you need residential classification you can verify: US static ISP IPs, auditable sourcing, unlimited bandwidth at $2.50/IP.

Frequently asked questions

Are Webshare's static 'residential' IPs actually residential?

Some users report that certain static 'residential' IPs test as datacenter or hosting-flagged, which defeats the purpose of buying residential in the first place. Treat that as anecdotal (it's not every IP, and it's not company policy), but it's the exact question worth asking any low-cost provider. Our answer is to make it checkable: every IP we sell comes from address space we lease directly, and you can ask us to walk the chain on your specific IPs before you rely on them.

What's the difference between per-GB and per-IP pricing?

Per-GB (Webshare's rotating residential, $3.50/GB down to $1.40/GB) bills you for data moved through a shared pool. Per-IP (Webshare's static line and our whole product) bills a flat monthly fee for a dedicated address, with unlimited data on ours. For session work you want per-IP; for wide one-off scraping, per-GB rotating can be cheaper.

Why do some cheap proxies get flagged or blocked?

Two common reasons. First, an IP sold as residential may sit in a datacenter range that reputation databases already distrust. Second, shared IPs get rate-limited or banned when many customers hammer the same target from the same address. We sell dedicated IPs that nobody else touches, and we source them as genuine residential space, which is the whole reason to pay more than a datacenter price.

Do you offer US-only static IPs with verified sourcing?

Yes, that's the entire product. US static ISP IPs at $2.50/IP/month, unlimited bandwidth, leased directly from the networks that own them. If your bar is 'prove to me this is residential,' that's the bar we built for. If your bar is 'as cheap as possible,' Webshare wins.

Can I manage IPs programmatically through an API like Webshare?

Yes. We have a Bearer-token REST API (/api/v2/order) that creates and cancels orders, lists orders and proxy details, pulls usage stats, and exchanges or replaces IPs; see our order API docs. Webshare has a capable self-serve API too, so neither side wins on this point. Note that the proxy connection itself is HTTP/HTTPS with username/password only; we don't offer IP-whitelist or API-token proxy authentication.
